Wandering Wednesday

Wow, i haven't updated in a very long time... And i am seriously pissed off with myself. As in seriously. I have screwed up my life thoroughly. First the end of year examinations, then the class chalet stuff, and now the Chinese O level examinations.

Oh, how much loser can i be.

Chinese O level. If i can get an A2, i will already be on cloud ten. Not nine, but ten. Why, you might ask. I totally screwed up my paper 2. How screwed up? It's doubtful that i will even pass. So much for "i will score an A1 for Chinese tomorrow!"

What a joke. A preposterous joke.

Even after Chinese O level, i cannot officially pronounce myself like what Glendon did --- start of holidays. EVERY SINGLE DAY, i have to wake up freaking early in the morning just for that 2 hours of geography remedial. Why didn't i just study that 2 more minutes for that 2 more marks for a passing grade?

What the fuck am i doing. I don't have the slightest clue.

Thinking bout the holiday homework make my mood worse. I practically don't have enough time for them this month. Yet again, i have to juggle revision and homework in December.

11/11 - 17/11 = Geography Remedial
19/11 - 21/11 = Chinese Orchestra Camp
23/11 - 25/11 = CMC Camp
25/11 = St John Flag Day CIP

Wow, i don't even have time to breathe. You might think i am just trying to act cool and criticize these camps. Or that i didn't become EXCO of either of my responsibilities so i totally changed my character for the worse. I am totally not that kind of a person.

I'm just worried for my O Levels, just like all the secondary 4s next year in the whole world.

Fuck this shit.

Farewell Friday

Oh well. End of the week. End of the school term. End of secondary 3.

As expected, my results failed to achieve the standard of what i desired it to be. But i am not going to start whining and lamenting here. No, i am not going to do what i do in the past. Instead, i am going to keep silent.

Class chalet's a mess. What do u think u can achieve with only a handful of people "actively" engaging themselves in the planning process while the rest of the people who attend the chalet go play chinese chess or something. Whatever. I guess 船到桥头自然直. Or so i hope.

Let's go rest for 2 days before i start mugging for the Chinese O' level exams. My aim? A1. no ands, no buts, no ors.

Pure A1.

I wonder how i am going to achieve that with this current standard of mine.

Mrs Chew is leaving. I guess it is kinda sad to have such a good teacher to leave. I mean, how often do u meet teachers who value morality as much as academics? Or should i say more than academics.

It looks like Mr Kua is not teaching us next year too. Another good teacher leaving...

Let's see who are the new teachers.

by the way, 2 hours later, i will officially be a student of...

4-8 '10

Sad Saturday

Let's start this post with the thesis statement.

I have failed geography.

What's more, i don't have any mood to continue this post.

Anyway special thanks to people like guochang, yufan, martin, yilong, sheryl and angelina who tried to cheer me up.

And my family, of course.

Nevermind. Bye.

Slow Saturday

One week of nothingness just ended.

This week has been quite boring indeed. Except Monday, of course, when we have our final papers. But i need not go to school on Tuesday and Wednesday, but those days are taken care of, i guess.

Thursday has been quite...tiring. 3-4 hours of basketball. Though i did not really play that well as i couldn't get into "form". Oh well, but the LEAPS briefing was quite fruitful. At least i know i might not get -2 for my O'level L1R5 score.

Friday has been very boring. Firstly there are chinese intensive for higher chinese students. Though i don't hate chinese, but i still feel kinda bored, especially when my chinese teacher starts scolding other students. And CO...let's not talk bout it.

Today i went out with Ivan, Eugene, Jian Hong, Jing Zu and Guo chang. We went to vivocity for a spree! And i spent all my week's allowance. Let's see the bill. $13.50 for my lunch, though jing zu kindly treated me the $3.50. $13 for the 3D movie of "Cloudy with a chance", which made my head really spin. Not literally, of course. $3 for the popcorn too, as i shared with Jian Hong.

It wasn't until the end of the movie did i remember that i still have my bao zhang bao dao homework from Xue Er You tuition centre, which was due tomorrow. Thus, i just "pangsei-ed" eugene, jingzu, ivan and guochang and went home with jianhong. Sorry guys! I was kinda stupid to leave my homework undone. haha.

What a pity. Due to the fact that i have tuition until 1+, thus i cannot go to sentosa and join 3-8 in the beach volleyball and soccer thingy. Oh well, i guess there is always a second time for these things, especially in the class chalet.

And monday i will have to go celebrate Sheryl's birthday. I don't know how i am going to do it, but i will have to squeeze money out from somewhere to buy her birthday present and eat/go out with her. When i have already spent my this week's allowance today.

What am i going to do?

Merry Monday

Let's start off this post with a loud exclamation---
END OF YEAR EXAMS ARE OVER!

It is seriously something worth celebrating. Especially when i restricted myself AWAY from the computer for 1 month. Though i can still derive entertainment from other media forms such as television programmes.

End of Years 2009 is quite hard, to be honest. English comprehension was a killer. I'd be glad to get a passing mark for the comprehension. Physics, though everyone says its freaking easy, i feel that it is, as a matter of fact, quite challenging. Same goes for Biology, a paper that everyone says is freaking easy too. But i find both of these papers more challenging.

To be honest, i don't really have much confidence in any of these papers.

However, for the sake of the bet that i set with my father before the exams (if i get 5A1s my father will buy me an iPhone), i tried my best for the papers. Okay, maybe not try my best, but at least i studied.

SETTING THAT ASIDE, I hereby implement the 2 plans that i shall put into use after tomorrow, namely the RELAXATION PROGRAMME and the NAPFA TRAINING PROGRAMME.

Relaxation programme will last for these few days, about a week after today. No mugging, no studying. Though it is quite impossible. But i am seriously damn bored. I mean, i feel so lost after the exams. It doesn't even feel like i just had an exam. Rather, it feels like i just had a series of class tests.

I guess its due to the fact that i have not been studying much for all the papers.

Napfa training programme will hereby commence from tomorrow onwards (since it is so freaking late now). My mission--- get a GOLD in my secondary 4 napfa test. I don't want to be ostracized in junior college for being weak and feeble, and even staying back to practise running around the tracks etc etc.

What a bore.

Nevermind. People are still having exams, thus i should not be such an unfeeling person and blabber about how happy i feel or anything. (though i feel nothing).

OH! And Class Chalet for 3-8 2009 should be in planning mode from thursday onwards. Let's not talk bout that first, shall we. Just relax. Enjoy. Play basketball.

Yawn. Nights.

Simple Sunday

Call me slow or whatever, but i just realised something.

EOYS ARE JUST 3 AND A HALF WEEKS AWAY.

-scream-
-shriek-
-faint-

And EOYs take up a awfully large percentage in the grades for the entire year --- 50%. Yes, 50%. That means that this is it.

This is it to determine my level ranking for this term. Though it may be sucky currently, this is my chance to prove myself to everyone. Top 100, HERE I COME!

Hence, to do well in my examinations, i must devise a strategy. Yes, a mugging strategy.

-scream-
-shriek-
-faint-

From tomorrow onwards all the way to the end of years, i shall not turn on the computer unless it is of utmost importance (e.g. saving the world from extinction). No manga (including new releases of naruto and bleach and katekyo hitman reborn) , no games, no blogging, no basketball (sob sob) and of course, no going out for lunch or dinner or anything.

I am going to be cut off from this virtual world. There shall only be a few places i can visit --- Catholic High School and My Home.

No basketball :(
No lunch invites :)

Sunday, September 13. The last day i will enjoy myself thoroughly. The last day i will go online.
Monday, September 14. The real battle begins.

Fruity Friday

OH! It has been one whole week since i last updated this blog. I'm so sorry that you have to face the same old post every single time you log onto this blog. Oh well, at least there is still Guochang's blog to entertain you. As said by nicholas,

"Who doesn't read Guochang's blog?"

Agreed. Nobody doesn't. Everyone does. Anyway, here's the URL of his blog. Click here.

I just read his blog just now. And Guochang wrote about what he would do if he had 10 days left to live. And i must say it was really meaningful and touching.

Therefore, i shall be a copy-cat and start copying Guochang's idea (i hope you don't mind).
But it wouldn't be exactly copying though, since i don't want to die of lung cancer or anything. And i do not want to mislead everyone. Haha. So no introduction.

P.S. if you are looking for pictures i suggest you give up.

Day 1:
Since i should just know about the news, i should be grieving together with my family. I will stare out of my window, with the window pane wide open, enjoying the cool breeze that God blessed the world with. I will close my eyes and savour how beautiful this world is.

And i will go to sleep.

Day 2:

I shall walk over to Eugene's house to play basketball for one final time. Before that, i shall stop by the Starbucks shop at Woodlands Civic Center and get myself the most tantalizing cup of coffee the salesperson had to offer. Then, i will find a spot along the windows and swipe out a laptop and start surfing the net.

Then i shall walk over to his house and start playing basketball. After that, i shall force him to teach me and jian hong how to play tennis, since he has a tennis court.

Then, i shall do something that i'm sure nobody will believe i would --- call a taxi to bring me home.

I would then enjoy my mother's homecooked food before sleeping again.

Day 3:

Early in the morning, i shall gather all my friends (seriously all) and we will EAT! Since Macdonalds provide birthday parties, i'll make them make an exception for me and allow me to hold a farewell party.

After that, i shall go on a cruise with my clique and go one round around Singapore (the petrol price is crazy).

Then, i shall leave them and walk towards her and confess to her. Tell her how much i....HATE HER.

Day 4:
I shall devote this entire day to my grandparents. In the morning, i shall go over to my ahma's house and talk to her in pure hokkien. Okay, i will need a translator for that. And i shall go to the temple with her. Accompany her for half a day.

Next, i shall go over to my popo's house and talk to her in pure Cantonese. Okay, i will need a translator for that too. And i watch "意难忘" with her. Accompany her for the rest of the day.

Day 5:
I will spend the entire day with my family. I shall help my mother to cook a pot of curry for one last time. I shall help my father to fix his chair one last time. I shall help my sister to record her singing one last time.

And i shall eat with one whole table full of my favourite food, similar to all the other days.

In my final moments, i will sit on the red five-finger chair and face the sky.

How beautiful.

Okay it wasn't as entertaining as Guochang's but at least i did it okay. But i dun think such a thing will happen. As we grow old, i dun think that the rest will remember me anymore anyway.

That's it --- I'm going to finish the holiday homeworks (except physics) by tomorrow morning!
